Open Monday - Sunday, 10AM - 10PM
Ebru Döşekçi

Young sculptor Ebru Döşekçi graduated from Yeditepe University Faculty of Plastic Arts in 2005 with a Master’s degree. Since 2001, the artist has participated in various group exhibitions and she also participated in symposiums and workshops.

Ebru Döşekçi produces sculptures that do not fit into the space. She creates her own space and pierce where it does not fit and complete the cycle. Leave it unfinished and say “I make my own rules” instead of being a straight line, which includes reflections from her own life.
The sculptures, which sometimes overflow from their pedestals, enter and exit the walls of the exhibition space and define their own space are shaped with soft, rounded and clear lines.

The artist, who uses plain, calm forms that do not tire the viewer in her sculptures, chooses his material according to  the feeling that the work gives her.
